Family Matters

We are fortunate to have grandparents who make so many sacrifices to spend time getting to know our children.  I'm really happy that Liam knows his grandparents and looks forward to any visits with them.  We've had a few visits over the past few months, so I'll cover the highlights.
  • After Amelie was born, while my mom was here, my dad and brother came down for a visit.  Liam still talks about "unk Johnny" taking him to throw rocks in the water.
  • My mom came for another visit in September, which of course involved even more rocks in the water.
  • We went up to Connecticut for visit over Columbus day, and even though Liam was sick, he has lots of fun playing in the back yard.  We had fun introducing Amelie to many special friends and family member up there.
  • In October, Spencer's mom came for a visit.  We threw even more rocks in the water (notice a trend?), collected a few leaves for leaf rubbings, had a belated birthday dinner for Grandma Debbie (or Oootah Grandma, as she's sometimes called) with delicious Greek food, and introduced Grandma to Thai food.

My cousin and her baby girl, who is 9 days younger than Amelie.  They are so darling.

What beautiful children you have. It is so nice to be able to follow their growth on your blog.
