Chicago

And to conclude our Christmas vacation, we took off for Chicago the day after Christmas.  Unfortunately a big winter storm was scheduled to hit our area that day but since it was coming from the south and we were headed north, we decided to take off early and brave it.  We were so glad we did. 

We walked down the Magnificent Mile to Millennium park for a nice photo-op.

Chicago is cold in the winter!

We also took Amelie to the American Girl store, did a little shopping, and ate at Gino's East for a little Chicago pizza.  My  parents and John went to the Art Institute and Spencer and I got to go to the Temple the following day.  It was perfect for this city girl who needed a city fix.
