The Most Wonderful Time of the Year

Christmas tree? Check.  Christmas music playing all day long? Check.  Christmas cookies?  Check.  This is my favorite time of year and made so much the better sharing it with kids.  Liam's not in the "gimme" phase yet, so he is just enjoying the lights, music, and stories about Christmas.  Amelie is just along for the ride. 

Making Christmas cookies is my favorite.  Liam is such a good helper and he takes it very seriously. 

These pictures make me laugh a little though.  The day before and after the cookie making project were grouchy-tantrumy-lots of time outs-kind of days.  I'll probably forget about those days and just remember the wonderful smiling, cookie making days.

Amelie was thrilled to take part in the decorating-I mean eating the frosting.

Happiness is two happy kids and fresh made Christmas cookies.
