Another Awesome Disney Cruise Blog Post Series: Part 1

I do a terrible job keeping up with family pictures and blogs and memory making things like that but I will make a special effort so that we don't forget this magical vacation.

From July 26-August 1st we were fortunate enough to go on another Disney cruise with Spencer's family~ 25 people, 14 of them ages 13 and under.  I can't think of a more fun family reunion.

Our adventure began July 25 with a 3 hour airport delay on our way to Florida.  That was a little painful but we got 4 $100 vouchers for our troubles.  At the time, I didn't think it was worth the 2 screaming and 1 running around crazy kids plus getting in after 10 pm instead of 6 pm, but now that it's behind us I'm feeling a little more grateful for the vouchers.  Go Southwest!

Despite the rough beginnings, everyone slept fairly well and woke up full of excitement to see cousins and board the ship.  It also happened to be Amelie's 3rd birthday.  I doubt she will have a more awesome birthday in the next 20 years. Not even that anything that spectacular happened, but just the magic of being on a Disney cruise with all the excitement was enough.
  She had crab for lunch

Escargot (with Macaroni and cheese, of course) for dinner

and a Mickey Bar-with sprinkles-for dessert.  Life is good on a Disney cruise.  Also, she's still young enough that she says yes when you ask if she would like to try crab and snails.

Some more pictures from the first day:
Liam and his cousin Kyler checking out the ocean from a giant boat window.
This is a typical Amelie face when she's not sure about a new situation (in this case, a dance party).
