In the past 2 weeks we've had the privilege of enjoying time with 4 of Liam's 5 grandparents (and the fifth is coming in a few weeks, we can't wait!). Being the smart little boy that Liam is, he knows that grandparents= fun.
Our first visit came from Papa and Grammie (Spencer's dad and wife Debbie). Liam hadn't seen them in over a year, but he took to them right away. Like I said, he knows that grandparents are fun. Liam is a man's man, so he especially loved Papa.
Just after Papa and Grammie left, Liam and I went up to Connecticut to enjoy spring break with Grandma and Grandpa J. Once again, we got to enjoy Flamig Farm. It took Liam a little while to warm up to feeding the animals, but once he did, it was hard to get him away.
Last year when we went to the farm, a chicken pecked Liam's finger. I guess he must remember it because he wants nothing to do with chickens. At the farm, the chickens roam around freely, so Grandma Nancy taught Liam to say "no, chickens" with a stern finger wag to keep them away. Liam now shakes his finger and sternly says "no, daddy" or no to anything that isn't following his plan.
This pretty much sums it up. A little boy who loves being squeezed by grandparents!
