This is a picture taken presumably from our neighbor's balcony. Apparently at about 1:00 a.m. the driver and passenger were trying to get away from a hit and run accident they caused and they sped into our building. We missed the whole thing because we went to bed at midnight and must've been pretty tired. I think it just proves what every child knows: that all the exciting stuff happens after you go to sleep. In other news, the saga of the tomato plant continues. We now have 13+ tiny green tomatos...just in time for SNOW to come. That's right, Octobor 12 and it's already the first snow. Doesn't bode well for the rest of winter. We are managing by moving the tomato plant into our living room. It's a little cozy, but a small price to pay to taste the sweetness of our own homegown tomato...at least one.

How nice to find a new entry on your blog! You had a pretty exciting weekend--we had the fire alarm go off when Lauren and I went to see "Thriller" in Provo. The whole audience had to be evacuated into the snow. So we had some "fire and ice" too!
