Mother's Day, Spencer's Day, Father's Day

 Although it feels like ancient history, I still want to remember Mother's Day, Spencer's birthday, Father's Day.  Leading up to Mother's Day had been a rough few weeks mothering, so I wasn't really feeling in much of a celebratory mood, but the kids' sweetness that day reminded me why I persist through the hard times.

 
Liam made me two necklaces in school that he wanted me to wear to church and Amelie really wanted to give me one of her necklaces (even though she asked for it back a few hours later).

They came downstairs all by themselves and made me breakfast in bed (even though I was already awake and ready for church).

This Father's Day picture pretty much sums up our craziness, but these crazy kiddos are so lucky to have a patient and playful dad.
