After many long months with no vacation, we took a quick little weekend trip to San Diego for my good friend Lauren's wedding. It was a short trip, but just a really nice get-away for us. We decided that the last vacation we had together (that wasn't with family) was our honeymoon. Sometimes we like just getting maps and going without a plan. We sampled the beach, the shops, downtown, and yummy food. And we had a few really fun parties. I'm ready for the next vacation...

This was at the reception later that evening. Everything looked so beautiful and we had a lot of fun.

So this is the Hotel del Coronodo. The story behind this is from a book we have called "A Thousand Places to See Before You Die". This is listed under San Diego and we sort of have an informal goal to hit up as many of those 1,000 places as we can. Only 999 left (just kidding).
I just think this picture is really cute.
This poor baby seal worked so hard to get up the rocks and it was just so cute.

Another beautiful shot of the three of us. In the 4 years we've been friends, we probably have dozens of photos of us three. Lauren made a beautiful bride (of course)!
This is mostly for my mom to show the beautiful flowers, and they were gorgeous.

Loved the pics of San Diego, wish we were there. Imagine this, but my mom had her high school prom at the hotel Coronado.
